Whilst Waypoint-1 does not host an ongoing programme of residencies or workshops, it does deliver one-off events in response to demand and as a means of connecting its participants to each other & to the wider performing arts community in Scotland.

Such events have included Waypoint-1's co-curation of the Rep Stripped season at Dundee Rep in May 2022. This season included the production of Cartography, a show in which pairs of audience members journeyed through multiple, one-on-one theatrical encounters devised by Waypoint-1 participants; cabaret nights showcasing the work of early career performers; and the readings of 4 new plays by emergent, local playwrights.

More recently, Waypoint-1 and producer, Claricia Parinussa collaborated in the delivery of a 10-week series of workshops around the theme of 'self-producing and sustaining creative practice', and Al has collaborated with Puppet Animation Scotland's Manipulate Festival, 2023, in the delivery of workshop activity to support the development of concepts for new works of visual theatre. Waypoint-1 continues to formally support recent performance graduates from Edinburgh College.

We look forward to announcing new collaborative projects for 2024 in the coming months.
